kundalini TRAINING

KUNDALINI YOGA & AYURVEDA RETREAT

Explore the dynamics of the 5-Elements in and around you.

Become one with the environment to learn from the elements in nature,

as yogis have traditionally done since the dawn of time.

Join us on a transformative journey to ignite the Agni of each element within you, reconnecting deeply with nature and with your Prakriti—your true and innate nature. Through an Ayurvedic diet, conscious living, meditation, and the science of Kundalini Yoga, you will be guided to purify and balance your system, restore vitality, and cultivate greater harmony between body, mind, and spirit.

This retreat is designed for those who wish to discover or deepen the path of Kundalini Yoga in a complete, rigorous and integrated way. This retreat provides the theoretical and practical technical elements needed to apply this technology in everyday life and to start embracing the profound transformation to which this path gives access.

The retreat combines the teachings of Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan), the science of life, Ayurveda, the somatic approach, and the recent discoveries in neuroscience. It is an opportunity to integrate both ancient and modern wisdom into your life. Through our retreats, we seek concrete and practical changes.

This journey is open to all. You don’t need previous yoga experience.

Trainers:

Sat Sarbat, Satmukh & Dharamjot

International Trainers

They have been sharing their expertise, experience, and wisdom in Australia since 2013 through workshops, retreats, and training.

SAT SARBAT

Sat Sarbat encountered Kundalini Yoga in 1999 after an intense, adventurous, full, rich, and challenging phase of life. The teachings opened a door for her, and she committed generously, without hesitation and reservation, to this new path. She studied with devotion all that was available: Sat Nam Rasayan, Numerology, Yoga for Children, and Conscious Pregnancy.
Later, and over the years, driven by the desire to gain tools for every possible need and request, Sat Sarbat has kept exploring several other techniques for self-development (among others: Gurdjieff’s Movements, Grief Recovery, Hellinger’s family constellations, P. Levine’s Somatic Experiencing and Healing Trauma, James French’s Trust Technique, and hypnotherapy at the Cornwall School of Hypnotherapy).

Sat Sarbat can touch by making spiritual teachings accessible and resonating in one’s life. She hopes to keep serving all those who wish to discover themselves, upgrade the quality of their lives through increased awareness, and overcome their self-sabotaging patterns.

SATMUKH

Satmukh first came to Australia in 1998, searching about permaculture, an holistic way to connect to nature, disturbing the least the natural order while honouring our different needs.

From 2007, deeply inspired by the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and Sat Nam Rasayan, Satmukh has traveled worldwide for over 13 years to share those teachings and instil a sense of community and service. In 2012, he and Sat Sarbat founded the Ajai Alai Awakening school.

Since the COVID, Satmukh has been exploring in depth the Somatic Approach. Integrating the neuroscience and Ayurveda, he has developed a refreshed and updated way of teaching, deeply connected to the body and its sensations. A balanced nervous system and a safety anchored in the body becoming the priority to start the spiritual journey. He offers one-to-one Somatic Coaching to support self-regulation and trauma healing.

Satmukh is also passionate about Tantric numerology, children’s development and how to teach them Yoga. He also studied Gurdjieff’s Sacred Dances, Sufism and Felicitas Godman’s Shamanic Ritual Postures.

DHARAMJOT

Dharamjot has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since 2009, when she met her teacher Satmukh, and in 2011 she introduced Kundalini Yoga workshops and retreats in China with Satmukh and Sat Sarbat. Dharamjot gradually took responsibility for Ajai Alai International Kundalini Yoga School trainings and retreats in China and Taiwan.
She also follows other paths to make her teaching more complete: Sat Nam Rasayan, Numerology, Yoga for Children, and Conscious Pregnancy. Gong and sound healing.

Dharamjot has been teaching kundalini yoga in different places and working with the Chinese kundalini yoga community for more than 15 years. While persisting in her personal practice and transformation, she always encourages others to apply the yoga lifestyle in their daily lives through teaching, practice and service. She wants to serve those who want to find a continuous driving force for health and happiness.

Residential Retreat & Ayurveda

a gift to yourself

Being together in nature during the 5-Elements Retreat and sharing a collective yogic lifestyle for a weeks is very impactful. It is a source of inspiration and growth. The week offers the optimum condition to deepen your practice, embrace positive habits, enter a transformational process. The Retreat is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life and fully immerse yourself in a transformative training experience.

During the retreat, students will enjoy the use of the house, swimming pool, the bush and the beach. Creating a sense of  privacy and community, in a tranquil and nourishing atmosphere to facilitate the journey. With limited capacity and small group size, there will be plenty of space to absorb and reflect.

Awareness on our eating habits and attachments and using special diets to clean and regenerate our body, mind and soul is a very important part of yogic & Ayurvedic teachings. This retreat is more experiential and a special Ayurvedic diet will be part of the experience. The purpose of the diet during this module is to help you process the energy of this journey around the 5 elements. The diet is a so-called mono-diet.

Know More:

Kundalini Yoga Brisbane has been offering Kundalini Yoga training and retreats in collaboration with the AAA International Kundalini Yoga School since 2015. Over the years, the AAA School has successfully nurtured thousands of students across Asia, Europe, and Australia.

  1. Listen to the resonance!

Yoga is about deep listening. We teach in resonance to who and what is there. Our retreats and trainings are unique because they are alived. What you will experience with us will never be repeated again even if you join the same retreat. We honor the unicity of that time and space we will experience together. Your personal questions is the key to open the door of the teachings. Join us because it resonates with you, you feel it in your heart, even if it is not rational and does not make sense. It does not mean that there will be no resistances! This is just the play of the polarities, between the part that say Yes and the other that says No!

  1. Open to all

The program is open to all with no pre-requisites. We welcome participants who may not have any prior experience with Kundalini Yoga. “Wherever you are in the entry point” – Kabir or haven’t done teacher training or advanced training before. While this can present a slightly steeper learning curve, it also provides an incredible opportunity for growth. These students often experience profound personal development and transformation throughout the program, emerging with a deep understanding of the practice and a strong foundation for their spiritual journey.

  1. Ancient and modern wisdom

Ajai Alai Awakening offers a path of awareness based on Guru Nanak’s non-dual message Ek Ong Kar, and on Kundalini Yoga in the House of Guru Ram Das. Our intention is to rediscover and honour these timeless teachings and explore how they can apply in today’s world. The tradition, the teacher-student relationship, and the community of peers (sangat), are the 3 pillars on this path. We offer kundalini trainings and gatherings where you can recognise the source of wisdom within. In our teachings, we incude as well the season we are in (energetic impact), Ayurveda (the science of life) and its knowledge of the human body and its delicate balance and the recent advancements in neuroscience and trauma healing.

  1. A personal and collective transformation

The journey is both individual and collective. Growth and healing is relational. In this tradition, Seva (Service) and community are part of the Shakti (power) of the lineage. During the retreat you will be invited to participate to the community life by contributing with your time and energy (around 30 to 45 min per day: chopping vegetables, cleaning common spaces, washing the dishes, …). Seva is a type of yoga as such called Karma Yoga.
